If you like movies that make you think, and make you fell, then this is a good one for you. It is based on the poem Darkness, by Lord Byron. In the end of the poem it paints a picture of a lifeless world cast into darkness, and says of darkness that "she is the universe." If you know anything of the future painted by astronomers, then you know that darkness is the fate of all things; cold, lifeless, motionless, and empty darkness. All of our efforts for good, for life, for meaning, they all end in the emptiness of an apathetic universe that but for an infinitely brief moment allowed life to live with the hope of fools who thought they mattered without God. This is the thought provoked by this poem and this movie.
