Philip White

A cyclical film of depth which turns full circle during the almost three hour span. The "hero" Peter returning to a spiritual life in remote Jutland, having spurned his father and his family in his youth as a precocious but headstrong engineering student. Excellent performances from all of the main characters, and a welcome antidote to the cliched and superficial output of most cinema these days.
