There's a particularly unsettling yet settling vibe with Mononoke a true hidden gem. You're introduced to the philosophy and complexity of human nature while being treated visually! Really makes you want to think out of the box. such a beautiful and elegant anime that addresses mature topics through symbolism; props to the creators/voice actors and everyone who worked on this. You will not be disappointed. Mononoke is a masterpiece of the arts way ahead of its time; introducing you to the traditional Japanese Arts and I am so impressed by its decorative 'muse' Beautiful variations of Gustav Klimt's works are featured here, the decorative aspects are portrayed in every episode with its own charm and meaning, adding more depth to the show. It makes you want to pause and really admire every pattern composition. Also, the dialogue and script is just as outstanding as the perplexing and comedic characters. 10/10 please watch and support the artist. It is an underrated anime that doesn't get the amount of recognition it deserves. I only wish there was more:(
