Effort to bring up the concept was good, but it got messed up in climax. We aren't imposing our language on others to learn but it's least common sense for one to atleast try, understand and respect the language where he walks, breaths and eats... "ಜೈ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಾತೆ"... Lots of love for the people who speak kannada... And respect to who respect other language equally...
