So basically after 8 plus hours I'm still asking myself too many questions. The origin stories of every character is vague unless I suppose you already know the background from the books. If that's the case, why produce a summary story for committed fans and a confusing sloppy stew for everyone else to digest?
Overall disappointment. Episode 1-3 were a jumbled mess of characters and plots. Episodes 4-6 were more interesting and gave me hope the storyline would come together. Episode 7 was very good and seemed most conducive to the overall story. Episode 8 was a wasted opportunity to pull everything together. It instead was a great visual display that didn't propel the story and only offered more reasons to question why anyone would invest 8 hours of time to not be satisfied with simple answers and conclusions to the plot.
What's the plot anyway?!
