Maurice was not for me. Maurice was a very well written film, with very attractive cast (don’t know if that benefits you or not...). However, I found this film extremely slow and at times cringe- dare I say? Instead of feeling engrossed in the plot, I laughed at myself for carrying on watching this film. I’m glad it didn’t have any lgbt film cliches. I only finished it to see who Maurice ended up with.

I want more! Very enjoyable to watch with your mum at night after a bunch of homework! Always looked forward to it on a Sunday night with a big cup of tea.
