I hurried to finish the book so that I could watch the show. I love comparing my vision for the characters in the book to the movie or show. I was very disappointed in the show. The storyline, in my opinion, is not followed well and the characters unique personalities don’t align. Love the chosen actors, but they don’t match the original vision in the book. The characters in the show are trying WAY too hard to portray a certain image. I also wish there was a narrator/ internal dialogue voice over to help the audience understand the characters background and thoughts throughout certain scenes. GREAT READ! Not so great watch if you read the book first.
