Rather than agree to an arranged marriage, a woman brings her fiancee to England to break up with him, Western style. It is a remake of 2007 Hindi film Namastey London.

Two lovers, Pallavi and Uma get separated by circumstances, but reconnected years later, when Pallavi is happily married to someone else.

Sanjay (Prakhyat Paramesh) and Nithya (Aishani Shetty), who are college mates belonging to upper middle class families. Like every teen love story ever, the duo first hang out with friends, chat for hours, fall in love, sneak out of the home and go on night outs. All hell breaks loose when their respective families come to know the truth. Obviously, parents of both the teens are against their love story. What begins as a harmless love story turns out to be a huge problem for the couple. How they deal with all this, with a huge responsibility looming large, paves the way to an emotion-filled climax that takes the audience by surprise. This is a good movie with a good message for every youth.

The film is a remake of Bala's own Tamil film Sethu (1999). The film was based on a real life incident of a friend of Bala's, who had fallen in love, lost his mind and ended up at a mental asylum.
