The very best of television programming. We watched it Sunday evenings the two seasons it ran. We watched it again in December of 2020 with equal appreciation. As I emailed to friends, “the realism, research, characterization, flow of several plots and acting are superb. You do not have to be a Civil War buff to be ‘pulled in’ and moved”.
