i had no idea what to expect from this book. i was and still an a huge fan of the original trilogy and had very high expectations for this. i read it in 3 days which is very fast for me because i’m not a huge reader but I could not put this book down. every time i felt like i was starting to root for Snow I would change my mind right away because Collin’s is so good at giving us insight into his mental fork in the road struggles. the storyline is amazing and very creative. you never expect what happens to be the outcome. I do wish that the actual games took up more of the book just because that was the most intense and creative parts of the other books for me as well which is why i felt like mockingjay wasn’t my favorite at the time when i read it since it lacked a games. I also feel like the ending was the definite climax and that it was alittle not rushed. i had to reread the last 10 pages or so because it went so fast that I wasn’t sure of what i was reading! but no book is perfect and i still very much enjoyed this. can’t wait for the movie! very interested to see who they will cast.
