so so beautiful. cried at least 3x. such brave girls, loving adoptive families and enduring biological parents. the nannies and aunties were my favourite parts, such amazing work they did and continue to do! THANK YOU AMADA

Absolutely amazing! Not a fault to it. A very insightful look into 1950s society (rather than just America alone) through the lens of New Orleans. T.W. is a very talented play-write who led quite a sad and eventful life. As a modern reader I still felt very connected to these widely distanced group of characters!
