The 9/30/19 conversation on vaccines was excellent. I’m a registered nurse and grew up getting vaccines as a child. In nursing school I was required-to have new and repeat vaccines to work in the hospital and care for patients. I did have a severe allergic reaction to the Hepatitis B vaccine in the beginning of my career. Later on after having multiple Flu vaccines over 15 years, I became allergic to the Flu vaccine. Mostly I believe I reacted to firstly the preservative in the vaccines but even after getting vaccines without preservatives, I started to have more allergic reactions.
Some vaccines have antibiotics in them and being allergic to 5 antibiotics this became a serious concern. So on the recommendation of my doctor, I stopped getting vaccines. I have mostly been in favor of vaccines most of my career as a nurse but I do question some of the manufacturing ingredients that are harmful. I don’t hear anyone talking about this. Also the Flu vaccine is only 70% effective so 30% chance you will get the flu. Why does the hospital make all non vaccinated employees wear masks when they are not sick?
Thanks For the conversation.
Concerned for our future generation.
