There are only a handful of really great C-drama. Let's face it there is an over production of historical dramas and most of them suffer from terrible flaws. But this one is perfectly written, acted and executed. It's for a mature audience with no whiney brainless ladies or trite humor. The story itself has been carefully crafted and all the characters are well fleshed out and totally believable in their motivations. Finally both the FL and ML are simply excellent. Liu Shishi is nothing short of mesmerizing in her portrayal of an assassin and her counterpart is for once not a plastically good looking boy, and is acting is amazing. I would put it on par with Love like the galaxy, and Joy of life1.

I watched this show 6 or 7 times and I still marvel on how perfect it is. The first 3 episodes are just setting the decor and tone; after that it becomes just magical. The casting is amazing. The 4 women are so well written and acted, it's impossible not to fall in love with each and every one of them. The guys are space cowboys except for the doctor and shepperd. The bantering dialogues feels very natural. The creativity with language structures and mix with Mandarin-Chinese slang is such a greatly executed idea! The ship is a character in itself like the horses in the Far West, and the space travel makes you visit a lot of different planets. There would be so much more to talk about. If you like sci-fi, give it a try you won't be disappointed!

I am a huge sci fi and Frank Herbert fan. This is a masterpiece better than the 1rst installment. I love that the director managed to make a movie so beautiful that he can take his time to tell the story without it being boring. The acting is amazing. Frankly I was a little bit on the fence about the little Frenchman but he really gave gravitas to the part and Zendaya is also remarkable. This one for the ages, I will watch it again when it streams but if there si one that deserve a big screen, it is this one!

The best movie you can see on any given day. I was already blown away by "The life of others" by the same director. This is equally good and powerful. The actors, the story, the cinematography...etc Everything is perfect. The story is about boy living in Nazi Germany and who then becomes a man under the GDR regime. As a gifted painter, he feels he has to move to West Germany to be able to move out of the confines of socialist realism. Before that he falls in love with a woman who's father was a nazi doctor involved in eugenics I won't tell more than this to avoid spoilers. It is amazing. Frankly, I cannot conceive how people rate this anything less than 5 stars. Only warning : there is nudity but not gratuitous.

Soft porn with some artistic pretenses. An escort/mild psychopath, who enjoys sex and even more money, turns older men into powerless puppets. She destroys a few of them who get too close, and karma catches a bit with her in the end, but not too much because overall it's an immoral story which does not want to condemn the absolute lack of ethic of the main character (this is the time we live in : everybody should be free to do whatever they like regardless of others). So she is somewhat made into a victim at the end, but since we don't care about her at all, it's all good, we don't feel a thing! The main actress is perfect, clinically seductive (i.e, utterly un-erotic for anybody who cannot conceive sex without love), and makes a great show of a perfect body. Overall, good production and treatment of the subject, but I just don't like the subject; It was interesting for a minute, but won't be watching subsequent seasons.

For anybody who wants to be told a story about resilience, intelligence, character and selflessness. This man is one of the few to emulate. He was my favorite player when I was a kid and when my father gifted me his signature racquet, I slept with it for a week! But I knew little of his personal story. I am glad even as a kid I perceived something about him that went beyond the game. He was a magnificent being.
