Anusha Thothathri

The first 1 hour of the movie is charming and quite funny, but the ending is boring with very random scenes put together. I wish they'd paid better attention to the ending.

Some parts of the animation look a little fake, especially Buck's human-like expressions. However, overall as likeable and heartwarming a tale as the book the movie is based on. The book represents Buck's journey better - the reader will feel real relief as Buck answers the Call at the end and finds his true home. The movie has shortened a lot of that so you don't feel as many emotions, but still a great watch!

Starts with a bang, but then derails into cliches and you lose interest about 45 mins into the movie. Was hoping for an entertaining story given the premise, but it's a letdown. To be fair, I've didn't finish watching the whole movie, but I think a 2/5 is a more than fair rating for this one. :-(

Poignant, sweet, a touch of romance thrown it, and a lot of laughs.. The journey the "thatha" and "kutti" take is all of it and more, and as the curtain falls, leaves you with bittersweet tears and hope that their journey holds more stories to come.
