Pepper Williams

First of all, I like Korean movies. And this one didn't disappoint! It features Byung-hun Lee (GI Joe, The Magnificent Seven, A Bittersweet Life), Jung-woo Ha, who is one of my favorite male Korean actors (The Terror Lives, The Berlin File, The Chaser),Dong-seok Ma aka Don Lee (Train to Busan, The Outlaws). This was a good disaster movie in the vein of Volcano and 2012, but with more heart and soul! You get invested with the actors right 'off the bat' With plenty of action and good story-telling, it should be on one's "watchlist". I loved it!

This is one of those movies that I can watch over and over again. Ricardo Darin does an excellent job as a taxidermist, who has a photographic memory and dreams of committing the "perfect robbery". Well, he stumbles into this 'real' robbery, and the movie from start to finish is well paced and tense.This is how thrillers should be made. Check this gem out when you have a chance.

****SPOILER ALERT**** This show is so fantastic: the cast, the writing, the music! My only negative comment is: Why do the writers have to kill off so many of the main characters, ESPECIALLY MY FAVORITE....NAROBI?

This movie was directed by a cinematic genius, by the name of Alfred Hitchcock. He created the suspense movie, the angle shots that are so prevalent in all movies. He was a true innovator. Sure, it’s slow by today’s standards, but notice how he builds tension throughout. A masterpiece by a master craftsman!

One of favorite 'sub' movies. Action was great and all the leads were outstanding. Don't listen to those stupid critics!

I watched it yesterday and found it to be very engaging and exciting. The female lead was terrific as a woman with many personal demons, but her determination and drive to do better with her relationships with family and daughter, was what made her triumph. The fights scenes were realistic, and her martial art skills were up to par with many of her male counterparts in that genre. The chemistry between her and her daughter were ‘spot on’. I put it in my favorites list so that I can see it again. Excellent movie with a good soundtrack! Five stars out of Five for me! And I thought that the female lead was attractive as well.
