I didn’t like this very much. Firstly, it was well directed and filmed. That said, it seems like the writers and director wanted to see the cast through 2021 eyes and sensibilities. People throwing around f-bombs, Lucy and Desi in bed with Lucy’s feet in the air (while she was already engaged to another) and non-stop sarcastic and mean quips between almost every character. It’s a very dour view of I Love Lucy and the 50’s in general. It’s as if the only joyful moments these people had were faked while the cameras were on.
