Jess Ex

Visually very nice, but I was disappointed by how much they left out. Dialogue changed, side characters roles reduced, hints of the more involved story line, and the feelings of Knightly and Emma are tracked too early. The story seemed incomplete but at the same time it seemed to go on forever, I got bored. went with someone who never read the book or watched any movies/miniseries and they liked it....until they watched the 1996 movie and realized how much better it explained the story. Also they realized how many things that they were slightly confused by in the new movie because certain information was taken for granted. So maybe it is better if you know the book.
