Yesterday's show made me so upset, and frankly since the addition of these two younger women, the topics are far more political. I liked the Talk because you touched on things more light-hearted and fun. There are already too many Political Opinion shows out there. Yesterday went too far. Sharon, like myself, is of a generation where being loyal to friends and freedom of speech mean something. And I don't miss the point of speaking up when others say offensive or racist things. But your young hosts and even Cheryl, missed the point that Sharon wasn't standing up for WHAT he said, but for his right to say it. This current cancel culture has shut down all differing opinions. If you don't agree just cut them off and cancel them. We have got to get back to discussion, which yesterday, as it dug in, showed it is too deep a topic for a 7 minute segment. Back to my original statements- stay true to your focus on fun, funny, good-works type of topics and leave the politics to the politicians!
