This album is an astonishing masterpiece and there is no doubt of that. Periodt. It is one of the best albums Taylor has released, and it is pure genius of her to spend time writing this poetic, lyrical album. I’m so glad Taylor decided to release a folk alternative album, because without folklore 2020’s music wouldn’t feel as magical as it is. I feel as if Taylor has grown so much as a songwriter and folklore is a perfect example of this. My favorite song from this album is august. Just the overall storytelling of august, and not just august but all of folklore is just simply magical, perfect, beautiful. I’m simply wonderstruck on how good this album is. The lyrics embody the stories told through her writing, and her songs. Moral of the story: I love folklore.

People seem to only remember reputation for its singles, and don’t get me wrong the singles are straight up fire, but………..THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO REPUTATION THAN ITS SINGLES AND THATS COMING FROM A SWIFTIE. Needless to say, reputation is a masterpiece, and though I can’t relate to it because I don’t need to. I don’t care if you don’t relate to this album, because neither does Taylor. She wrote this album for the sake of her ahummm… REPUTATION. And each song has a story of its own, it shares her own experience, because of the lousy liars who that it was ok to ruin 2016 for her. And because Taylor is a strong powerful woman she wrote reputation, and without it 2017 wouldn’t be as good as a year it was, So i thank Taylor dor that. Reputation is truly an experience and the best album she has released in my opinion. In my mind it is AOTY. Periodt.

I love this album, and I’m happy Taylor continued this unique narrative of hers with this masterpiece of an album. This whole album, is not only an album, but an experience, and when I say experience I mean experience.I’m absolutely blown away with this album and like folklore it is an amazing, unique album, and it truly deserves to be called a masterpiece and I hope everyone who listens to this album thinks that as well.
