Having read some of these reviews, I wasn't sure if this movie was going to be much chop. It was a lovely movie, well worth watching. A man on a mission, Harold set off to be there for his dying ex work colleague, as she had supported him through a very painful time after the death of his son.
As the story progressed, it became clear that Harold was still carrying a lot of guilt and pain, and he needed the time he spent walking to process his guilt and grief. The movie isn't a blockbuster but it is a meaningful story without any violence.
I found the ending a bit lacking but overall I really enjoyed this movie.
As a Border Terrier owner, I absolutely loved that gorgeous dog.
