I don't think anyone that reviewed this "film" even knows that it's based on the 3rd segment of the Disney animated movie Fantasia. A segment which is called "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". Having that information going in, and being a big fan of Fantasia, I'd say that this attempt to modernize the story and bring it into a real live action movie is horrible. The original story with Mickey Mouse is leaps and BOUNDS better. Sorry Nick Cage and Jay Brachelle.
