The reboot is fantastic. To piggyback on what others are saying: 1) they had no idea whether theyd get approved for additional seasons so taking that into consideration they had to work in getting in what they could into an 8 episode arc, we can’t really expect them to get too deep 2) Finley is absolutely the best actor in that cast I’m astonished people have so much to negative to say about her, she’s not faking her voice lol 😆, and it’s her subletly and charm that keeps her from having to confront her bigger issues. 3) Y’all need to rewatch the old show if you’re concerned about too much sex, they had alottt of sex on the last series and also have you watched the latest hbo/showtime series (GOT/euphoria) come on, in my opinion they’re keeping it pg in comparison. I could have done without the Sophie grandma scene, that was forced and silly. I do crave the intense drama of the first series but I have a hunch now that they’re approved for another season we’re gonna get that. Lastly, ladies, we’re old, lmao. If you watched the last series (not steamed it yesterday) then you’re not a millennial and you have to keep in mind today’s 20 somethings are a total diff beast. They have to speak to them too. Bring it on l word!
