This show was terrible. After loving Hill House, and waiting two years for this to come out, we were thoroughly disappointed in the follow up season in this anthology series. There was no ghost story, there was no scares, it was monotonous and full of a ton of never ending, unnecessary monologues. And it went from being a ‘haunted’ manor story (and I use that word loosely, bc you didn’t see most of the ghosts until the very end) to being a love story, something which there is too much of on tv now a days. We love the scary and haunted ghost type stuff here, and if that’s what you’re looking for, don’t waste the 9 hours of your life that it will take to watch The Haunting of Bly Manor.
