It only just scrapes a one star. It really is bad - incomprehensible. No depth. So why does Megan/Cassie go back to her past? She’s a cardboard character with no reality as a mother, no reality in her previous life ( escape down the road? Yeh very likely) and from the start you just don’t care enough to keep watching. Don’t waste your time.

This production is superb both in the quality of film making (as good as any full feature film ) which was imaginative, risk taking, beautiful and using light exquisitely, and in the content which was demanding, emotionally intelligent and unpredictable. It is a sprawling narrative rich in political, individual and cultural subtleties, but it is clear and sharp in the telling.Nothing extraneous here - sometimes you have to just flow with it but it`s always precise. So refreshing to be treated as an intelligent audience sharing the responsibility of understanding. Its available for a month so don't miss it especially if you`re into high class drama.
