Damn the critics, this is a superb, variegated album, full of twists, and with pounding drums, pulsating bass and pointed guitar, pushing and propelling the album forward. Some critics have griped that the music differs throughout, and the lyrics moan or are inappropriate but, if they want samey, they just need to look elsewhere; music should differ and lyrics should challenge, rather than merely conform. Great stuff from Johnny & co.

Hugely enjoyable Goldblade album and, just as importantly, great fun to listen to in the van. With well-written, uncomplicated & accessible lyrics, the instrumentation is excellent, as is the production & sound mixing. Defo on the Highly Recommended list.
