Pardo Mustillo

This is a film about a subject that should take more time to develop. The movie was nice, the acting superb, the the script seemed rushed. It would be better as s 4-6 part series. For example, we don't witness the young boy's life being transformed by music. We don't see the turmoil of his absence on his mother.

Part Thomas Crown Affair, part James Bond, Lupin is a delightful new series to watch. The lead actor, Omar Sy, is the perfect fit for the gentleman burglar. This series is not a comedy. More like a suspense thriller.

Captivating and well acted. Almost believable.

Very difficult novels to adapt to the screen, but the director manages to capture the subtleties and nuances well. The acting is impeccable, especially the two main protagonists. The other actors/actresses are also splendid. More please. One minor point: The subtitles are often inaccurate and don't capture the richness of the dialect. I understand the dialect and sometimes, I am frustrated by the subtitles.

Frictionless comedy. Predictable but entertaining. The set and scenery are beautiful.

One of the better shows that I've seen. I'm impressed with Gervais' acting. He doesn't go for the laugh or for sympathy. He looks and talks the part of a grieving man who's lost the love of his life and can't bear to live any longer without her. Great cast of actors, including the dog.
