Mary Jo Hazard's "Stillwater" is an excellent novel about three young girls who are each growing up in not so perfect family situations.. The 12 year olds are forced to deal with suicide, mental illness, and domestic violence. Reader's will not be disappointed as they learn how the girls and their families deal with each set of circumstances. Well done MJH!
