W-why?? Why did the makers do this?? Why did they have to change my beloved memories of sword art online like that?? What was the point of that?? I only had a few hours notice and a brief outline of the movie prior to going in but having the name sword art online in the big screen drew me in like a fire to a moth. Now, I know what many are going to say "it makes the characters feel more personal and alive". No. No it didn't. It changed them into a whole other personally like changing Tobey McGuire to Andrew Garfield for Spider-man. And how the main characters met?!?!? I could go on and on. If you have fond memories of watching Sword Art Online and just wanted to watch a bridged story to find out a missing piece of the story in the early days of the game like i did, dont watch this movie.
