Based on our culture, this series is all pretense and no substance. Garbage nihilism, painful pacing, pointless stories, though set in 80s the females act like 2020 feminists, obligatory sex scenes. Though the entire series was horrendous, the most representative scene of the series is early on when the elder grandfather debates his 10 year old grandson on the existence of an afterlife with all the tact of an internet atheist. If you find the reality of morality offensive, this is your opiate.
