This was nothing more than a 90min long trailer for what could have been a great expose. The extravagance of dramatisation and sombre music, the completely one-sided point of view with clearly no intention to listen to and understand different opinions, the truckload dumping of "shocking" statistics with no source whatsoever, and the aggressiveness of the director towards his interviewees, all of these make for a very poor format that completely annihilates the important messages for the topic.
The director clearly wanted this documentary to be the stepping stone for his career and chewed more than he could swallow.
These documentaries are also getting quite annoying by the lack of answers they bring. We had cowspiracy -> don't eat meat anymore, seaspiracy -> don't eat fish, all documentaries on mass agriculture showing that single crops destroy the pollenisation and imbalances nature -> vegetable diet is not that great. What are we supposed to eat anymore? If we could stop having these sensationalist documentaries ("if this is true, how come I'd never heard of it", non sense), and now start having solid scientific based propositions to how we can to feed 10bn people from different wealth levels, without destroying this planet.
Don't waste your time on this documentary, not worth it, will make you more angry against the director and the format, than the problem itself.
