One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I was looking up older movies with classic stars and stumbled upon this movie. I had no idea what to expect as I frantically tried to find it online. I ended up ordering the dvd and watching it yesterday. The entire time I was glued to the movie. This movie felt long but impactful, not a single second was spent on filler. It felt like what every adult coming of age movie should feel like. I think it was brilliant to have Holden’s end be the way in which it was. Justine really hit the nail on the head in playing the part of a depressed retail worker who feels stuck. I love this movie and wish I could watch it for the first time again.
