I am in 8th grade now and this movie relates so much to what I feel like and what I'm going through. I actually teared ups few times watching it. In my opinion it is an amazing look into what some teens really go through, I have always felt insecure and not confident, and to add onto it I have issues with friends (like all teens do) and a bad relationship with one of my parents. The movie really shows a how awkward you can be in uncomfortable situations. I absolutely love they way Kayla acts when she talks people, it shows how the tensions and anxiety of what could happen next builds up in her. And of course the way she always tells herself to be confident and carefree is exactly what I feel. You always tell yourself you can be confident, but it's easier said than done, and this movie shows that in a great way. In conclusion it's not just a cliche movie it has substance and I truly love it!
