I really wanted to like it. It took me months and months to even get passed the first 100 pages. It’s 300 pages. I rushed through the last 100 just so I can finally be done with it. It sounded like such a good concept, but I just couldn’t really get into it. It dragged so much and I kept wondering how can a book be saying so much and no real action happening. It Just felt repetitive and as the semi supernatural things were revealed I kept say “ wait ! What !?!!” And I love true crime and gothic stuff. But I actually would still suggest y’all reading it for yourself and see if this might be your cup of gothic tea.
