This movie was terrible. A failed attempted at the multiverse . A horrible peter parker with no common sense let alone spider sense. Aunt Mae or excuse me "Mae" was the most clueless /horrible role model a child could ask for. The film attempted a joke after joke after joke missing it's mark almost every time. The supporting roles "Michelle Jones " and un memorable chunky friend literally played no significance in the trajectory of this film, they could have literally not been in the film and it wouldn't not have made a difference. The plot seemed like the writers at Marvel had smoked a little too much in the writing room and wanted to create scenes that did not flow or cohesively make sense what so ever. The writing was clearly an attempt to satisfy a generation of children glued to their phones so that even a bit of substance might throw off their brain wave patterns causing them so go into a triggered hyper active panic mode or just dose off(it was super basic and predictable ). The action sequences we're barely memorable using CGI to cover up a lack of detail, stunt work and hand to hand combat that makes Spiderman such a joy to watch. They completely killed the Andrew Garfield spider man by making him seem like a big joke suffering from PTSD. Aunt Mae will barely be missed, it literally is the definition of American Cheese. Cheesy attempts at satisfying the most simple of minds while totally missing the marks on any underlying messages that may leave our children better than when they started the movie. God please help save the marvel universe cause chances are anyone who loved this movie thought the last fast and furious movie was a masterpiece
