The Vagabond Witch in the Woods

I thought this movie was a trip. I don’t want to give anything away but it is “prince in shining armor” in a way. Only the prince is the least expected. I thought it was going to be another ordinary post-apocalyptic story about putting the world back to the mundane way it was or learning to be survivalists, but it was surprisingly different. I would recommend it to friends who might appreciate some actual thought put into a movie and not just dead bodies and zombies, although there are plenty of dead bodies. One and a half enthusiastic thumbs up.

I was very excited to see it and my payoff didn’t disappoint me. I thought it was beautiful to look at and had fun along with the characters while they were tripping. It did seem to move a little slow but the relationship between the main character and her boyfriend was slowly dying, so the pace felt bearable. I was shocked and entertained and horrified in such a nice way. Will probably watch it twice.
