I have never been a fan of Gervais, only started watching this as once again hubby monopolised the TV with "his rubbish" which it usually is, this, however, has me absolutely gobsmacked. Gervais captures the loss of a loved one so perfectly be it a partner, parent, friend. This is so well written, directed and performed, every episode I find myself being lost for words other than I can't believe Gervais has written this!
