Bought this on Amazon I’m still on chapter 1 but I’ve found the topics discussed hard to deal with and the approach taken feels like a slap in the face to women and children who have gone through similar things. I’m trying to work through my trauma hence buying the book but I think the way the confession was handled in this chapter was too nonchalant. It took the responsibility of his actions off him and blamed his circumstances. And that’s never acceptable. That’s victim blaming.
