I tune in to Lawrence every night to hear his opening remarks. I always enjoy The Last Word with Lawrence and his monologues are the highlight of MSNBC evening news.

It's way to early for Kasie Hunt's forced cheerful perkiness. Her constant smiling is annoying. Her morning persona seems fake and produced, as though her director said "smile a lot and cheer up the audience." Not a good call. She does well as a contributor on other shows where she is thoughtful, concise and intelligent. However, she is awkward and seems false as the morning anchor, as if she's trying to adopt a different personality than her own, as if she is trying to channel Rachael Maddow. Clearly she is not presenting herself genuinely and I find her morning hour unwatchable.
