The newest Robert Rodriguez film offers a positive premise pared with : bad writing, bad SFX and a condescending tone toward its core demographic. Only very young audiences might enjoy this kid-friendly super hero flick.

Brandon Cronenberg's second film stands out as more of a technical triumph than narrative. The story centers on Tasa Vos, an assassin, tasked with taking over the mind of a young man and killing the CEO of a powerful tech corporation. The assignment doesn't go as planned and Tasya struggles to finish the job before her work spills over onto the ones she loves. The film is packed with cerebral ideas but doesn't address develop its characters or answer story questions to a satisfying end. Overall , very strong but a bit lacking doesn't deliver on all fronts.
