It was a charming movie about being true to yourself. I don't perceive any fat shaming, as the main character is happy to be big and proud of it and her love interest comes to accept her for it by the end of the movie. It was funny and witty and for an indie movie, can easily stand on its own as a classic to be remembered. The overall story was a positive message about being true to the real you and left a lasting impression on me. I really recommend this movie. Sure it's no big box-office blockbuster, but for what it is, it is worth 5 stars and should be appreciated as such.
Patrick Warburton and the queen make such a charming comedic relief that reminded me fondly of Disney's The Emperor's New Groove. Patrick as the mirror was an excellent choice. I did not recognise any other voices, but the high-impacting clean comedy was delightful and such a nice change from movies that prefer to use the toilet humour. And the lack of curse words on top of that makes it an absolute joy for a family-friendly moviegoer as myself. This is an excellent movie to show to kids, though it may scare younger kids. Think Disney Princess cartoons such as Cinderella, The Little Mermaid or Mulan.
There's plenty of romance for the bigger kids with themes the whole family can enjoy. I can't recommend it more. Go see it!
