I went in to this game with high hopes, as I love me a good 'Metroidvania' style platformer, but I was woefully unprepared for this beautiful game. The tight controls, the narrative, and the visuals... literally any screen from the game is a beautiful work of art. It cemented its place in my favorite games of all time, and tied for best Metroidvania alongside Hollow Knight.
