The Unintentional medium will remain on my bedside table for quite some time, what a beautiful story written by such a kind soul. It is rare for me to pick up a book that is not Veterinary education directed, as most of my life is spent reviewing scientific fact and increasing my comprehension of scientific fact. However, I was raised by a medium and so my home life was filled with kind spirits, love and unequivocal affection. I count myself blessed to have a mother that could connect with aspects of life that science cannot warrant. Meeting Suzi (who I must say is a ray of sunshine in her own right) was like connecting with a second mother, her gift is unrivalled, her empathy and compassionate nature is something that cannot be taught but is ingrained into her being. To have the ability to connect to loved ones in another realm and be able to display their message (good or difficult), with compassion and humour is unique. Suzi writes as she speaks, in the absence of concern for social acceptance, with no use of restrictive or stale language. She is not afraid to speak her mind and expressed self-appreciation and love for all those who she contacts, this I feel is a rare attribute in today’s world. To have a documentary of her life which is loyal to her wonderful personality and humour makes the book a fantastic and insightful read for any audience. The book simply captivates any audience and takes you on a journey of love, laughter, spirits and gives you an open perspective on how a medium navigates life with all those extra unique connections. I would encourage anyone looking for a book to lift your spirits and insight to pick this up and bear in mind to not schedule anything for a day as you will become consumed in the story (put the kettle on its going to be a great day with this book in hand). To Suzi thank you for being spectacular in spirit and being able to put this onto paper, to enable so many to experience this around the globe. Great read, spectacular author!!!
