This Lion King remake was excellent! As sentimental as fans may tend to be, it's important to judge a movie strictly from the standpoint of what it's attempting to do and how close it reaches that objective. The talent and technology that goes into this kind of production is hard and meticulous work! Then there is the story line, the singing, the acting and the breathtaking visuals. I watched the B'way show also. Different and still amazing!
