Love this book, last evening I cooked the chapter 6 meal for friends as one of whom gave me a haunch of venison last week. It took me a a whole day to shop, prepare and cook the meal keeping as closely as I could to the recipes plus obtaining and matching the wines at affordable prices. The results were very well received by all, requesting I continued to try every chapter. We also talked through the history after a little further research.
