Well this film has been out a time, However, an operetta by Noel Coward called Bitter Sweet , when Hollywood got their hands on it , Mr. Coward described it as more sweet than bitter ... As th the film phantom of the opera, one is left feeling it was more light than dark !!!

A great watch of a film. You must read Tony Curtis book on the making of it.. More hilarious than the film.
