I went in to this movie wanting to dislike it. I thought I would be bored and it would be apparent through the entire movie that it was just an attempt to pander to women. I was dead wrong. It was an amazing movie and I was continually surprised and wowed. It also made all of the other Marvel storylines make sense! I had no idea how important Captain Marvel was to the whole plot of everything Avengers related. Captain Marvel was a unique and refreshing character that wasn’t defined by just being a “powerful woman.” She was a fully realized Character and was wonderfully complimented by Fury as a companion.
