One of my favourite movies of all time. I really liked the approach of the director in choosing the idea to focus on the lead's faces, even during the love making scenes to really bring out their emotions. Movies like this make one want to watch more period pieces, because they depict that inspite of humongous odds humans have the capacity to prevail. I think that this is one of those few movies that the LGBTQ+ community will definitely be proud of due to proper depiction of the emotions, circumstances, and the mindset itself of people during that era. Sure now same-sex-marriages are accepted in almost all different corners of the globe, it is interesting but sad how involved and orthodox most of the government organisations were during that time. All in all, a well round movie, that made me a real fan of the 2 lead. I don't know why the ratings are so low though... I loved the movie. Must watch.

It's a good movie, watchable. A few action sequences related loose areas but still good. Loved the cast, and then there's Jim Carrey. That guy can never go wrong, even of it's just 3-4 mins of total screen time for him during the whole course of the movie. A befitting sequel, and the morals they mentioned are apt for real life. So, 👍👍👍
