I saw this movie right around when it came out, and was pretty disappointed in it -- it's not very scary, the teenagers are out there being cliches, all that.
But what really gets it the one star is the fact that I continue to be tricked by this movie. Every six months or so, the very cool and haunting poster/splash screen comes up on netflix as a suggested watch, and the movie is *so unmemorable* and the trailer is *so generic* that I've completely forgotten I've seen it, and think it's something cool and new I haven't seen before. And I try watching it again.
Only to be further disappointed.
