This book was a pleasant surprise. The writing style and the narrative are some of the most compelling I have read (I have been reading in English for years). I found myself laughing out loud and at times also with heartbreaking feelings. I will dare to tell the narrative style is compared to Stoner by John Williams or El Camino by Miguel Delibes, where seems to nothing happed but everything happed (sort of speaking). This is a kind of book that maybe not for everybody but everybody should read once in a while. Mr. Steward is an excellent storyteller.
