While somewhat holywood fantasy, it brought back many memories of engineering and computing systems in the early 80s and forward We did have a Ferrite core system with a reported possible LCF (Loop and Catch Fire) fail mode, I never saw it happen but the wire wrapped backplane was a nightmare to upgrade. I never got to work with any hot female engineers or code experts and recovering data from zapped disk drive was an extremely specialised field, involving super clean rooms. So allowing reality to slide this was a great series.

The script and story was poor. I don't understand the actors signing up for it or where the funding came from.

Great show trying to present facts focused the bizarre and ridiculous phenomenon of almost half the US population voting to run America like a reality TV show. And highlighting the sad popularism spreading from the USA throughout the world. Sometimes the presenters get a little fixated on irrelevancies like Giuliani's hair dye. Interesting looking at the ratings of this show indicative of the USA all 5s or 1s. The American empire is clearly collapsing and the China is very much on the rise. By the way, has anyone mentioned that the script for "The President" show is written by some very clever Russians? Sadly the star ad-libs, can not structure a sentence, has a very limited vocabulary and is delusional - 'very bad, very very bad'
